BMW Motorrad recalls accessory turn signals for non-compliance

WASHINGTON, DC – BMW is recalling approximately 9,000 accessory turn signals because they may be insufficiently visible to other motorists and fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment,” NHTSA reported. The turn signals were available only as an accessory, BMW told NHTSA.
