ERICO MOTORSPORTS HAS GIVEN AWAY a Piaggio Fly 50 as part of its "Erico Gives Back" campaign. During the month-long promotion,
members of the community were asked to write about their difficulties during the recession and how a scooter would make things
easier for them.
Out of the hundreds of responses the Denver dealership received, the dealership chose one written by a woman who wrote on
behalf of her friend Deacon (last name withheld).
"This incredible young man has endured many hardships in his life, but has never lost his positive attitude," says Erico
co-owner and marketing manager Tai Beldock in a press release. "The look on Deacon's face when we handed him the keys to his
new scooter was something none of us will ever forget."
Erico planned a surprise party for Deacon at the dealership, inviting his friends and family, Erico customers and staff. Deacon
also received a Corazzo riding jacket and lap apron and a free safety course from the Motorcycle Rider Training Center.
