2014 Sturgis Rally updates

STURGIS, S.D. – Businesses are already lining up events for the 2014 Black Hills Motor Classic in Sturgis Aug. 4-10. 

The Legend Suspensions manufacturing facility, 3461 Whitewood Service Road, will be open to the public for the rally. The business is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday; the company will also have a booth at J&P Cycles on Lazelle Street, showing off Legend’s new AERO air and REVO coil suspension systems. Legend Suspension Systems are also available through J&P Cycles, Fat Baggers Inc. and Cycle Solutions, at their Sturgis vending locations. Speed-Way Shelters will host Mark Craven of www.choppedbaggers.com and the City of Sturgis are hosting the Ultimate Bagger Show at Fourth and Lazelle streets. The coolest touring bikes meet Speed-Way’s top-of-the-line touring model shelter. Rivera Primo Inc. & RP Tronix will display their wares inside the J & P Cycles store on Lazelle Street from Aug. 1 to 10. RP Tronix is a  division of Rivera Primo dealing exclusively with extreme sports video cameras and accessories. They will be showcasing the Primo HD Xtreme high-definition, full-motion video motorcycle-specific camera.

The J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show, produced by the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows, returns to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on Fourth Street near the Sturgis Community Center. Signup is from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 6. Registrants may enter online. Judging from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. will be conducted by builders in other bike classes and guest VIP judges.
