A.D. Farrow Harley-Davidson posts Motorcycle Awareness Month events

COLUMBUS, Ohio – With the state celebrating May as Motorcycle Awareness Month, A.D. Farrow Harley-Davidson is getting in on the action.

Members of ABATE of Ohio Inc. - Region 9 Franklin County will join other riders at the dealership for a ride to the state capital May 4. Riders will parade to the Ohio State House where Gov. John Kasich will announce the official kickoff of the month’s motorcycle awareness activities.

The Top 100 dealer is working with ABATE to host the beginning of the parade at the dealer’s NorthStar site and an after party at A.D. Farrow’s historic downtown location. The dealer will provide live entertainment with the Simba Jordan Band as well as hosting food, beverage and vendors.

The following weekend Leave A Mark Church, QFM 96, and the dealer will offer the fifth annual Biker Blessing at the NorthStar campus May 11. The event will include vendors and the band, God’s Dirt.

On May 18 the Thunder Tunnel will take place at the 2013 Komen Race for the Cure. Riders will rev their engines to cheer breast cancer survivors and inspire runners of the three-mile trek in downtown Columbus. Revvers will gather At 6:30 a.m. in the parking lot of A.D. Farrow Co. downtown. They will follow a preferred escorted route to the dealer’s sponsorship location on the race course. Hundreds of riders are expected to line the street and cheer on race participants with revving engines, blowing horns, and high fives.

Ending Motorcycle Awareness Month, Farrow’s Centennial-Park Harley-Davidson in Pataskala will host two open house demo days, featuring factory reps and demo rides, May 25 and 26.
