LightspeedNXT dealers can now search warehouse stocking information for Western Power Sports within their dealer management systems. The integration agreement follows a similar agreement between ADP Lightspeed and Helmet House.
“This important partnership furthers our goal to help the dealer close more sales,” Laurn Rice, GM of ADP Lightspeed, said in a press release. “Having Western Power Sports' extensive warehouse information integrated directly into LightspeedNXT gives dealers a competitive edge in getting the customer what they want quickly, even if what the customer is looking for is not in stock in the store.”
Dealers search the data within the Parts and Major Unit Locator module released in summer 2008. The module allows dealers to post their inventory and search other dealers’ inventory within the LightspeedNXT network. The company claims there were 18,000 individual part searches in June 2009 alone. With this integration, WPS warehouse data will now be automatically added to relevant searches.
According to ADP Lightspeed, dealers can view availability of WPS products in regional warehouses without leaving LightspeedNXT’s invoicing screen. Stocking data is loaded into the locator database daily.
