AMA Indoor Dirt Track series adds rounds for 2014

PICKERINGTON, Ohio – The American Motorcyclist Association has announced an 18-round schedule for the 2014 AMA Indoor Dirt Track National Championship Series. This marks an expansion for the series, which is in its third year.

The rounds will cover a number of classes, from youth to senior, in short-track and TT competition. The series is being promoted by Steve Nace Racing Promotions.

“The AMA Indoor Dirt Track National Championship Series has grown significantly the past few seasons thanks to well-run events and a dedicated rider following,” said AMA Track Racing Manager Ken Saillant. “Riders who attend one of these events have the opportunity to compete against quality talent in every class, and that keeps bringing everyone back for more.”

The 2014 AMA Indoor Dirt Track National Championship Series schedule is as follows:

  • Round 3, 4: Nov. 16. Short Track, TT. Springfield, Ill. 
  • Round 5: Nov. 30. Short Track. Du Quoin, Ill. 
  • Round 6-7: Dec. 1. Short Track, TT. Du Quoin, Ill. 
  • Round 8-9: Dec. 14. Short Track, TT. Sturgis, Ky. 
  • Round 10: Dec. 28. Short Track. Du Quoin, Ill.
