AMA, extend sponsorship deal

Jan 26, 2012 will continue to be the Official Motorcycle Online Retail Store of AMA Pro Road Racing and title sponsor of the AMA Pro SuperSport division, now that it has extended its partnership with the association.

As part of the agreement, AMA Pro Racing will once again distribute more than $25,000 to riders in the form of a year-end points fund due to the support of

"We are very thankful for the support and dedication the company has shown to the AMA Pro Racing athletes through the Year-End Points Funds."

As part of the agreement, will have an expanded online presence in AMA Pro Racing's website content and social media initiatives. Several fans have already received gift cards for winning sweepstakes held on AMA Pro Road Racing's official Facebook page, and the two companies will work together throughout the year to find new and creative ways to give back to fans.

"If you were at the final round of the 2011 season in New Jersey, then you already know that road racing is back bigger and better than ever," says Tim Clark, director of sports marketing for "The SuperSport class is the breeding ground for future road race champions."

 The $25,000 Year-End Points Fund for AMA Pro Road Racing's SuperSport class will be split between the East and West divisions, with additional bonus money paid to the overall national champion and Young Gun award recipient.

The payout will be structured as follows:
East Coast: 1st place, $5,000; 2nd place, $3,000; 3rd place, $2,000
West Coast: 1st place, $5,000; 2nd place, $3,000; 3rd place, $2,000
Young Gun: $2,500
Overall Champion: $2,500
