American Powersports is planning a move to a new location with better highway visibility.
An auto dealer formerly occupied American’s new site, but closed about a year ago because it couldn’t get credit for inventory. The auto dealer had paid $1.5 million for the property four years ago, but American Powersports owner Mark Walther picked it up for $835,000 last month, according to the Findlay, Ohio Courier.
American has grown from five employees when it opened nine years ago to 23, Walther says. The dealer carries ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles and PWC. The new building, at 26,400 square feet, is a little bigger than existing site.
Walther is planning an open house June 5 at new location.
