America's PowerSports (APS) is building its dealer network in the Atlanta area, with its most recent acquisition being Outdoor Power Sports of McDonough, Ga. The company plans to announce more acquisitions soon.
Outdoor Power Sports will be modeled after recently purchased Cycle Nation of Braselton. The flagship store includes a first-year service maintenance package with every motorcycle, ATV or utility vehicle purchased.
The four Atlanta-area stores expand the lines APS represents in the region. Outdoor Power Sports carries Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki, Cycle Nation of Braselton carries Yamaha, Suzuki and Arctic Cat, MotoSports of Canton carries Honda and Polaris and MotoSports of Jonesboro carries Polaris, Honda and Sea-Doo.
"We will be combining Motorsports of Jonesboro with the newly acquired Outdoor Power Sports store to offer south Metro Atlanta residents all the brands," said America's PowerSports CEO Jim Bower. "This greatly strengthens our position as leading powersports retailer in the Atlanta marketplace while adding great value to our shareholders."
APS is the second largest powersports network in North America, with headquarters in Allen, Texas and dealerships from Massachusetts to California.
