CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Praise the lord and pass the doughnuts. Appleton’s Harley-Davidson is offering a chance to socialize over coffee, doughnuts and a brief holiday prayer from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Dec. 20, 21 and 22.

The free event invites the community to drive through for coffee and doughnuts on the way to work, as a way to share and to offer comfort to people who may be missing absent loved ones.

“For most people the holidays are a time of cheer, for others it can be hard times when it comes to thinking of loved ones lost or perhaps in our town a husband or wife that is overseas in the military leaving their families behind unable to share Christmas with their loved ones,” according to a dealership statement. “Just come by, stay in your car and receive a free cup of coffee and a free doughnut along with a prayer of a hand rested on your shoulder and for the good Lord to bless you throughout this Christmas Season.”
