Arctic Cat is now shipping three new ATVs for midseason: the 350 4x4, the 425 4x4, and the XC 450i.
The company calls the 2011 350 4x4 “the value-priced 4x4 leader in the Arctic Cat lineup,” claiming it has the most ground clearance (10 inches) and the highest fuel capacity (4.3 gallons) in its class. Newly sculpted bodywork and headlights are available in green, red and lime. The 366cc air-/oil-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke is paired with a 34 mm Keihin carburetor with electronic automatic choke. The midsize chassis is close to 100 lbs. lighter than a full-size one, according to Arctic Cat. Dry weight is 588 lbs. MSRP is $5,499. Click here to read the full press release.
The 2011 425 4x4 also comes with a lightweight midsize chassis. It’s powered by a 445cc liquid-cooled SOHC single-cylinder with EFI. Features include an on-the-fly electric two/four-wheel-drive shifter and dual taillights with a backup light. MSRP is $5,999, and the unit is available in green, red an lime green. The final model is a new entrant into Arctic Cat’s Crossover category. The 2011 XC 450i boasts an aggressive design, complete with four-wheel drive and a fully independent front and rear suspensions. Arctic Cat says the model has the only engine in its class to provide EFI. It’s also the only Crossover model with 12-inch cast aluminum wheels. Color options are black/orange or lime/black.
