LAKE FOREST, Calif. – Protective gear manufacturer Asterisk will return to a dealer direct sales network, the approach on which the company says it was founded.
In an announcement sent out Jan. 31, the company said the “decision does not reflect upon the performance, commitment or loyalty WPS [Western Powersports] exhibited as the domestic distributor for Asterisk. Asterisk very much appreciates all efforts made by the entire team at WPS over the past three years.”
The company reported that after much deliberation it opted to return to the dealer-direct model. Asterisk will also continue to produce its knee braces and other products in its own U.S. factory.
