ATV Displays With Attitude

Eye-catching displays help sell more ATVs

While rummaging through our collection of photos from our Top 100 Dealers, we noticed a theme among dealerships that specialized in ATVs and UTVs – many of them decided to bring the outdoors in. We saw lots of camo, foliage and even some humorous displays that we have no doubt helped with vehicle sales. Here are some of our favorites from the 2008 Top 100 roster:

1. Bob Weaver Motorsports and Marine in North Tonawanda, N.Y. keeps it simple by displaying vehicles out on a large patch of green. Sometimes, simple is best. Photo courtesy Bob Weaver Motorsports and Marine

2. A mannequin catches some air at Rick Roush Motorsports in Medina, Ohio. Rick Roush won this year's Top 100 award for Best Display. Photo courtesy Rick Roush Motorsports

3. It's as if the Headless Horseman decided to trade in his stallion for a Suzuki: Cyclewise Inc. of New Haven, Vt., makes use of a small space to plug in a Halloween-themed display. Photo courtesy Cyclewise Inc.

4. This mannequin from PowerSportsPro of Omaha, Neb., looks like it's going to ride off into an autumn sunset, dodging bales of hay, cornstalks and pumpkins. Photo courtesy PowerSportsPro

5. A camo-clothed mannequin hides while decoy ducks roam freely at Outdoor MotorSports of Spearfish, S.D., Wouldn't it be great if hunting were this easy? Outdoor MotorSports was second runner-up to the Top 100 Grand Prize and is a Top 10 Dealer. Photo courtesy Outdoor MotorSports

6. Heartland Honda of Springdale, Ark., sections off a whole corner of its store for a hunting and camping-themed, life-sized diorama. Photo courtesy Heartland Honda
