Bartels Harley-Davidson poker run to benefit transitional living facility

MARINA DEL REY, Calif. - Bartels Harley-Davidson will host the Fourth Annual Miriam's House Poker Run from 8 am. to 2 p.m. Oct. 14 to benefit the Promises Foundation.

Christopher Reed from the FX series “Sons of Anarchy” will be the Grand Marshal and lead the group of motorcyclists on a 30-mile ride through West Los Angeles and Malibu.

This year's event features a free pancake breakfast for riders, live music, dozens of vendors, a raffle and live auction. The charity ride and event is being coordinated with the help of the Messengers of Recovery motorcycle club. All riders are welcome to participate, and nonriders are welcome to join the BBQ and party at Bartels Harley-Davidson at noon.

All net proceeds will go to the Promises Foundation to support Miriam's House, a transitional living home in West LA for women with children in recovery. The Promises Foundation is a nonprofit, 501c3 organization.
