SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. – Bell Helmets and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca are teaming up to offer a commemorative Bell Star Carbon helmet for the 2013 Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix, which takes place at the historic track July 19-21.

The helmet was painted by Chris Wood of Airtrix, a paint shop in Santa Barbara, Calif. The graphics include a homage to Monterey’s famed Cannery Row, the U.S. Grand Prix logo and the track map.

A few commemorative helmets were painted last year for the 2012 race, and the response was so positive, the two companies said, that they decided to collaborate again, this time to make a limited-edition helmet that would be available to the public.

The 2013 Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix Bell Star Carbon is already on sale at, with a price of $699. The helmet will also be available for sale during the race weekend at the Mazda Raceway Superstore, which is located in the Yamaha Marketplace.
