The 900 gram (about 32 oz. for we on the standard system) Pit Boss helmet from Bell features a lightweight TriMatrix composite shell that blends together kevlar, carbon and fiberglass.
The DOT-compliant helmet also features Bell's Speed Dial adjustable fit system that reportedly allows for a high level of comfort while reducing the tendency to lift off a rider's head like other open-face helmets.
Other features include, a drop-down internal sun shade, a removable neck curtain and integrated speaker pockets for communications systems.
The Pit Boss has a five-year warranty and comes in sizes S, M, L and XL and - Internal sun shade. Helmets with graphics retail for $129.95 while solids go for $119.95.
