BEST WESTERN HOTELS has extended its partnership with Harley-Davidson to continue offering Harley riders discounts and promotions at its hotels. The extension will last three years.

"Best Western will continue to cater to the unique travel needs of the millions of motorcycle adventurers who believe the journey is as important as the destination," said Dorothy Dowling in a press release . Dowling is the senior vice president of marketing and sales for Best Western International. "Our heritage is deeply rooted along America's scenic roads, and extending our relationship with Harley-Davidson, another iconic brand synonymous with road travel, is a natural way to introduce more travelers to our hotel chain and contemporize our brand."

Harley riders can register for the riding program by calling 877-BW2BIKE or by logging into www.bwrider.com. Participants in the program will be upgraded to Gold Elite status, which offers a 10 percent bonus on every Best Western hotel stay. Other perks include 10 points for every dollar spent on room rates or 250 airline miles. HOG members will get Platinum Elite status, receiving a 15 percent bonus on every stay, complimentary room upgrades and late-check out.

Best Western has more than 1,200 hotels in North America. The chain bills itself as “rider-friendly,” with some of its hotels offering reserved parking for motorcycles, wipe-down rags and washing stations.
