The BlueRibbon Coalition has cancelled the 12th annual Breakfast of Champions that was scheduled for February's Dealer Expo, where it will still have a booth.

The coalition cited the bad economy, including fiscal impacts to the OHV industry.

"The decision to cancel the Breakfast of Champions is part of an organizational strategy to focus staff and resources to effectively address the many land use issues that are impacting OHV recreational access to public and private lands and waterways," Greg Mumm, the group's executive director, stated in a news release.

"BRC continues our attendance at the Dealernews International Powersports Dealer Expo,” he said, “and looks forward to a robust exchange of ideas with event attendees at our booth No. 4514.”

The BlueRibbon Coalition, a nonprofit dedicated to saving off-road trails, represents more than 600,000 recreationists nationwide. Dealers can learn more at www.sharetrails.org. They can also stay current with BRC via Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and RSS.
