After decades of assisting professional racers, Boyesen (Booth 1232) applies its airflow design to Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The Power X-Wing straightens airflow within the carburetor or throttle body throat. With the enhanced flow of air from the inlet, the reduced air turbulence and increased velocity reportedly provide more precise fuel control and a better air/fuel ratio. According to Boyesen, this results in improved acceleration, increased torque and overall horsepower gains of between 3 and 5 horsepower, depending on the model. The Power X-Wing is available for EFI systems, and for OEM and Mikuni aftermarket carbureted systems. The company says installation is easy — just bolt on and go.
