George Bergeron, outdoor power instructor at UTC, said the donation was the largest in the program's history.
“Seeing that truck back up and open its doors was like winning the lottery for students in the Outdoor Power and Recreation [program]," Bergeron said.
The snowmobiles will help train future technicians and engineers on advanced technology, like BRP's Rotax E-TEC engines.
“This is an investment in the future of students that want to pursue a powersports career,” said Philippe Normand, marketing director for Ski-Doo Snowmobiles. “These snowmobiles are state of the art which provide a great learning opportunity for students and in turn supply us and our dealers with qualified workers for many years.”
