WESTPORT, Conn. - The Westport Police Department’s Marine Division will patrol on a Sea-Doo personal watercraft for the 2013 boating season, thanks to some help from BRP and a local dealer.

Robert Gargano, owner of GSS Powersports of East Haven, facilitated the loaner program agreement with BRP.

“The vessel is being provided for a six-month period at no cost to the town while we evaluate its effectiveness in our waters” said Capt. Sam Arciola. “The vessel will be used by our Marine Officers for shellfish enforcement and vessel speed limit violations at Cockenoe Island and on the Saugatuck River.“
