WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, BRP is voluntarily recalling certain 2013 snowmobiles due to a fire hazard.
The recall affects about 10,200 units.
According to the recall notice, the sleds’ fuel pump inlet fitting can come into contact with the oil tank and break, leading to a fuel leak.
BRP has received three reports of fires. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers are being told to stop using the vehicles and contact a BRP dealer to schedule a free repair. BRP has notified registered consumers directly.
