Brush fire damages motorcycle repair shop

MARYVILLE, Tenn. - A brush fire Friday sparked a blaze that damaged a motorcycle repair and parts shop, authorities said.

Blount County Fire Chief Doug McClanahan told WATE a brush fire broke out around 5:45 p.m. and spread to Six Mile Cycle in Maryville. The business sells parts for motorcycles, tractors and lawnmowers.

Owner Randy Goff said his son was there when the fire broke out, but no one was injured.
