BURLINGTON, N.C. - The former Davis Harley-Davidson in Burlington has been sold to the owners of Caliente Harley-Davidson of San Antonio, Texas, and renamed Down Home Harley-Davidson.

The dealerships are owned and operated by Fred and Paige Bosshardt.

The Burlington dealership recently bought 3.5 acres across the street from its existing site to offer Rider’s Edge classes and expand service operations. Motorcycle rentals have been added as well.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this community and look forward to growing this successful dealership even more,” said Bob Fitzpatrick, general manager of Down Home Harley-Davidson. Fitzpatrick was formerly the service manager at Caliente H-D.
