A Sunnyvale, Calif., shop owner is facing criminal charges of felony grand theft and passing bad checks, according to the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office.

Department of Motor Vehicles investigators have arrested Robin Tolleson, 48, the owner and manager of Rider's Choice Used Bike Warehouse in Sunnyvale since 2000.

Authorities say over the last two years, Tolleson sold used motorcycles on consignment and embezzled more than $65,000 from 22 sellers. In some cases, he allegedly paid angry consignors with bad checks.
