SUDBURY, ONT., Canada - Bayview Custom Motorcycles in Parksville has become the only dealer north of Victoria that carries the latest Royal Enfield models.
Co-owner Lori Nielsen told Canada.com the first three 500cc Royal Enfields were delivered to the shop last week. She expects the classic-looking design will stir up big demand among local motorcycle enthusiasts.
"It's definitely a niche market and we expect our customers for the bikes will be young people between the ages of 18 and 28, as well as older guys who are driving Harley-Davidsons but are looking for something smaller," she said. "The bikes are all steel and the vintage look should be a big selling point."
