Charges added in Kentucky motorcycle chop shop case

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky. - State Police have added charges to those already filed against a man accused of running a motorcycle chop shop.

The Hampton, Ky., man was arrested Jan. 31 and charged with four felony counts of receiving stolen property. Police found property including two stolen Harley-Davidson bikes when they made the arrest. Three more have been found since then, along with Harley-Davidson parts from four states.

Charges were updated Feb. 6, according to KFVS, to add two more counts of receiving stolen property, one of obscuring the identity of a machine and one of criminal mischief.

The investigation has also resulted in charges related to three stolen trailers, and the recovery of two reported stolen trailers.

Kentucky State Police are still investigating.
