I have also signed up with Lehman Trikes to sell its Victory-powered Pitt Boss trike. I'm also doing trike conversions using a Dallas-based company called Mystery Design. I believe that trikes are going to be more popular as the baby boomers grow older; plus, I think there is a market for trikes, and I fully intend to be right in the middle of it. It's another profit center — get it?
The smart players are not sitting still. Big Dog Motorcycles is still developing new models distinct to its brand. S&S Cycle has its new X-Wedge motor, and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with a big shindig at the end of June in LaCrosse, Wis. RMD Billet has a cool new bagger front end and some new, cool wheel designs. Mean Street, Roland Sands Designs, Arlen Ness, Chopper Guys, Big Bear Choppers, Klock Werks, and Paul Yaffee Originals with his new Bagger Nation (you're welcome, Paul) — are all pushing the curve.
My old saying is "If you always do what you have always done, you'll always get what you always got." In other words, if you stand still, everybody else is gonna pass your dumb ass!
