Continental donates $250K for Japan relief

Continental, expressing 'solidarity with the people of Japan,' is donating $250,000 in emergency aid for those living in the regions destroyed by the earthquake and tsunami.

“Our thoughts are currently with the people of Japan who are living through one of the country's worst crises. Management and employees alike have been devastated by the disaster and its consequences,” said CEO  Elmar Degenhart.

“Fortunately, our own locations and employees have been largely spared the effects of this catastrophe," he said. "Precisely because of this, and because the Japanese people have always proven to be extremely willing to help in emergencies, we feel it is our duty to provide immediate aid,” he explains.
