HOLLISTER, Calif. – Corbin may be primarily known for saddles, but the firm sometimes creates hard luggage options for special motorcycles.

The new Indian apparently caught the firm’s eye, as the new Corbin Trunk Box is designed to look like an extension of the factory bodywork while helping to disguise the large storage capacity. Hand-painted and finished to coordinate with OEM paint colors, it includes polished aluminum struts and rack for installation.

It also includes a passenger backrest pad and armrests covered in genuine leather, using the same Comfort Cell foam as Corbin’s saddles, to provide support. An ergonomic design fits to the body for maximum contact area and weight distribution. Corbin can also coordinate the trunk components to an existing Corbin saddle (if equipped). Corbin does not recommend overloading the trunk, even as they claim it is built solidly enough to handle the load easily.

Boasting an installation suitable for the average weekend mechanic, the trunk is available in primer for $1,754, while factory-matching paintwork brings the total retail price up to $1,963.
