Corbin-Pacific Inc. has a new team of outside dealer representatives, who are busy publicizing a new ordering incentive.
Says a Corbin news release: “These fine folks are officially hitting the road in October 2009 to assist dealers in any capacity needed for Corbin seats and accessories. As they travel the country they'll be bringing some great news with them: free freight!”
Corbin formed the new support team in association with Chrome Horse Sales, an independent sales agency whose other clients include Danny Gray and Wiley X.
Corbin saddles are now shipping to all authorized dealers (in the continental U.S.) at no charge. Free freight does not apply to fiberglass components or saddlebags.
According to Corbin, the program is “another way we are helping our dealers to remain competitive and offer the latest accessories to their customers. Corbin is also one of the few manufacturers to have eliminated USA distributors in order to offer better margins and consistent pricing to all dealers. Corbin saddles and accessories are now available exclusively through Corbin direct and authorized Corbin dealerships.”

Despite our report earlier this year that Corbin-Pacific Inc. was for sale, founder Mike Corbin is still the owner. A source familiar with the company said that Corbin has put his retirement plans on hold.
