HOLLISTER, Calif. -- The FZ-09 has been a hit for Yamaha, thanks to its combination of value and performance. But that stock seat is hard and sharp-edged — and likely not ideal for comfort for most riders.

Corbin has introduced two saddles for the FZ-09: the Gunfighter for solo riding and the Gunfighter and Lady for comfortable two-up riding.

Both saddles provide a blend of rider comfort and custom styling. For a solo look, the Gunfighter is shaped to emulate the lines of the bodywork with a “fastback” tail section. On the inside, the tail is still padded and upholstered to provide for short-trip passenger capability, with Comfort Cell. But for longer rides, the Gunfighter and Lady saddle provides comfort for rider and passenger.

The sculpted riding positions disperse body weight across a greater area for mile after mile of comfort. Additionally, the neutralized seating platform curbs the tendency to slide towards the tank under braking, further reducing fatigue. As with other Corbin saddles, the Gunfighter and Lady accepts Corbin’s optional removable and adjustable backrest.

Corbin's patented molding process provides a fit to the tank and tail section while the whole saddle rides on rubber bumpers to protect the bike's paint. Leather seating panels are included for long-term durability, along with a range of color and material options.

Both saddles install just like the OEM seat and use the factory key lock. Pricing for Corbin’s FZ-09 saddles begins at $493.
