VIOLA, Wis. - Crane Cams has teamed up with Chris “Rocket” Rivas of Fresno, Calif.-based Chris Rivas V-Twin  to design two new bolt-in cams for late model, 2007 and later Harley-Davidson V-Twins. S&S Cycles, which distributes Crane Cams, made the announcement.

The Rocket 574 is a bolt-in cam set for stock or big bore engines with stock heads. The 584 cams are intended for larger engines with ported heads and higher compression, but the moderate lift makes it compatible with stock valve springs. Both models have an MSRP of $389.95.

Both Chris Rivas Signature Series cams feature a distinctive black oxide finish and the patented S&S Easy Start centrifugal compression release system to save wear and tear on the starter.

"These cams were designed with cylinder pressure in mind, what I’ve learned at the highest level of racing and engine building is that if we can keep cylinder pressure high we can accomplish more than average amounts of mid-range power," Rivas said in the announcement. "I know that everyone from professional engine builders to weekend warriors will enjoy the power gains with this new line of cams.”
