CULLMAN, Ala. – Authorities are searching for the burglars who took about $33,000 worth of equipment from Basch Brothers Powersports three weeks ago, and Cullman investigators hope to use recently obtained surveillance footage to identify the suspects.

Two vehicles, a blue pickup truck and a black Suburban, were caught on security cameras entering a fenced-in area and leaving the business between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. Jan. 26. The blue truck left with a Polaris on an attached trailer and the SUV left with a utility trailer from the business and a Polaris ATV loaded onto it.

Investigator Marsha Norris told the Cullman Times authorities are close to identifying the Suburban driver, but are seeking help from the public.

“We have a dozen leads and this burglary could have people involved from four different counties,” Norris said. “We are asking for help from anyone who knows the identity of the drivers of these vehicles, or the owners of the vehicles.”

The Cullman Police Department is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the culprits.
Anyone with information may contact Norris at 256-734-2868 or 256-775-7170.
