GALLIPOLIS, Ohio - Deputies are looking for more suspects in a break-in early July 31 at Baxter’s Harley Davidson. A nearby John Deere & Co. dealership also sustained a break-in, according to authorities.
Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning told the Pomeroy Daily Sentinel one individual is in custody following the motorcycle dealership incident.
A 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle and an undisclosed amount of cash were taken from the business, as well as $10,000 in leather and jewelry. The motorcycle and cash were later recovered, but the jewelry and leather items remain missing, Browning said.
Authorities contacted the Ohio Bureau of Identification and Investigation to help process the scene due to the size of the business.
The name of the possible suspect or suspects have not been released. The case is under investigation.
