MIAMI, Fla. - Miami-Dade Police are looking for five men who were caught on video stealing dirt bikes in a smash-and-grab burglary at Reva Motorshop around 3 a.m. on Jan 9.

Officials say the suspects used a stolen Ford F-250 truck to smash through the front gates of the shop and the store's metal shutters and glass door.

Surveillance video released on WTVJ shows one of the suspects driving the truck through the gates so the others could run in.

"We suspect that they've been in the shop once, twice, probably three times," general manager Shane Buchanan told the station. "We feel that it's definitely a local group of individuals. They knew exactly where they were going, they were set to do it, and they put all the pieces of the puzzle in place to make it happen."

The suspects took five dirt bikes worth a total of $31,000, police said.

The video shows the suspects struggle to get the bikes into the bed of the truck, which began to roll away at one point.

The burglary is still under investigation. It was not immediately clear if this job was related to similar burglaries last year at DosReis Miami Motorsports, Broward Motorsports  and Riders Miami In North Miami Beach.
