COLLINGWOOD, Ont. – Someone got away with 13 Arctic Cat and Yamaha ATVs from Parkway Yamaha, and police are looking for whodunit.
Const. Martin Hachey told the Collingwood Enterprise Bulletin police are investigating how the culprits were able to transport such a large load of heavy vehicles, taken during a break-in some time between 6 p.m. June 19 and 8 a.m. June 20.
“We are trying to determine if they used a big trailer or truck or if they made multiple trips,” he said. “It is quite an unusual thing, no doubt ...especially for this area.”
The total value of the ATVs is estimated at about $100,000. The missing vehicles are a red 2012 Arctic Cat 450; blue 2011 Arctic Cat 450 IGT; lime green 2011 Arctic Cat 550 TRV; blue 2011 Arctic Cat 550 TRV Cruiser; green 2012 Arctic Cat 700 LTD; green 2012 Arctic Cat 700 MUD PRO; two green 2012 Arctic Cat CORA 400s; a camo-painted 2013 Yamaha ATV; green 2013 Yamaha ATV; camo 2013 Yamaha ATV; black 2013 Yamaha ATV; blue 2013 Yamaha ATV.
