Shop owner Jerry Stake told The Sentinel he has wanted to move on to something else for a few years and finally made the decision to close.
“I would like to work for a manufacturer or distributor,” he said, adding that he expects to stay in the motorcycle business.
The dealership opened in 1980, became a Kawasaki dealer in 1983 and added Kymco in 2001 and Suzuki in 2006. The business also sells PG&A and from the dealership’s website.
The dealer also hosted weekly Wednesday night rides for enthusiasts.
