CULPEPER, Va. – Custom Rocketz custom motorcycle shop opened Jan. 31 in a former Dodge dealership in downtown Culpeper.

Former plumber Shane Hull and his wife, Mary, are starting big with a bike show April 5 at the local Buffalo Wild Wings.

“Shane’s talked about this for 12 years,” Mary Hull told the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star. “Finally I said, ‘Enough is enough. Let’s do it.’ We decided to jump in with both feet.”

Four customized motorcycles are already displayed on a platform inside the shop. One is Maybelline, Mary Hull’s colorful Suzuki Hayabusa.

The shop sells top-brand PG&A as well as used bikes and custom jobs.

“We’ll sell custom, but we will have some stock [motorcycles],” Shane Hull said. He added that in-house financing will be available.
