Most Bigfoot sightings are in the woods, but last weekend about 100 people spotted one at Dale’s Harley-Davidson in Mt. Vernon, Ill.
The dealership hosted the champion Monster Truck for an afternoon smash-up and a birthday party for owner Matt Waterkotte.
Bigfoot plowed over a line of six cars in a meadow next to the dealership. Driver Dan Runte drove Bigfoot into the field and used the truck’s massive tires to give the cars a shove before rolling over them, according to the Register-News.
Bigfoot was at the business from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, its first time at Dale’s, and maybe the first time at a Harley-Davidson dealership, said birthday boy Waterkotte.
“It’s exciting, it’s good for the kids and the community,” he said. “It brings people out to the shop that don’t usually come.”
He hopes to be able to bring the monster truck back to the King City again.
“I don’t want to bring it back too early, but maybe every year for my birthday,” he said.
