HARLEY-DAVIDSON INTRODUCES THE BREAKOUT SOFTAIL
Harley-Davidson will reveal its new Breakout motorcycle to enthusiasts gathered in Florida for Daytona Bike Week. The Motor Co. is marketing the Breakout Softail as a premium model in its segment, with finishes and components not available on other Harley-Davidson bikes. Like the 2013 Custom Vehicle Operations Breakout model that precedes it, the Breakout features styling that’s smooth, tight, and intended to showcase the engine and the tires. MDA RIDE AND EVENTS
The Muscular Dystrophy Association will kick off its fundraising season at Daytona Bike Week with custom bike shows, motorcycle displays, demo rides and daily special events, including the sixth annual MDA Women's Ride. Riders can also participate in silent and online auctions, as well as the Daytona Bike Week Motorcycle Raffle featuring a one-of-a-kind 2013 Harley-Davidson Street Glide, with proceeds to benefit families served by the Association. DESTINATION DAYTONA CONCERTS
Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona will host special performances and events paying tribute to Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary. The event schedule will feature a free concert by Shooter Jennings, daily performances from The Ives Brothers’ “Ball of Steel Stunt Show” and more. Hundreds of vendors, food stations, and motorcycle sales tents will be present. More information is HERE.
 
HARLEY-DAVIDSON STAGES BREAKOUT
The Breakout Softail is a premium model in its segment, the Motor Co. says, with finishes and components not available on other Harley models. The company unveils the new bike today. Click HERE for more information.
 
YAMAHA ROLLS OUT A NEW STAR
Yamaha has chosen Daytona Bike Week for the world debut of a new Star motorcycle.Yamaha will unveil the model at noon March 9 at the Yamaha display at the Daytona Club Pad near the front entrance of the Speedway. In addition to the model intro, Yamaha and its riders will be competing in Daytona racing, and the OEM has a number of activities planned. BUDWEISER SPONSORS CLYDESDALE PARADES
Budweiser has been named the official beer of Bike Week 2013 and will host  the annual Clydesdale Parades.The Budweiser Clydesdales will parade down Main Street at 3:30 p.m.  March 9 and 10. More information is HERE.
