DAYTONA HARLEY-DAVIDSON will host the annual Biketoberfest, which will run Thursday through Oct. 18. The Ormond Beach, Fla.- dealership is the world’s largest Harley-Davidson dealership. It was owned by Bruce Rossmeyer before his death in a motorcycle crash earlier this year.

Biketoberfest features family-friendly activities like concerts, shows, food and vendors in an outdoor mall-like setting. More than 100,000 riders attend annually.

New for this year includes the Rat’s Hole Annual World Famous Chopper Show, which will house 24 classes of bikes, a tattoo contest and door prizes. Biketoberfest is from 10 a.m. to midnight all week. Call 386-671-7100 or visit www.destinationdaytona.com for more information.

Earlier this week, the dealership hosted the 15th annual Ride for Children to benefit Camp Boggy Creek, a nonprofit organization for which Rossmeyer raised more than $3.8 million before his death.
