WHILE MANY PEOPLE spend Saturday nights out on the town, Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson hopes that customers will instead stay in – at least just for an upcoming weekend.

The Florida dealership will host a live online video auction from noon on Saturday to noon Nov. 8 in a 24-hour blitz of more than 100 used motorcycles. Motorcycle on the auction block will be presented in an interactive video format featuring the dealership’s salespeople presenting virtual sales pitches.

Potential bidders can preview the bikes starting Friday. Bikes will start at a $500 minimum bid, and the Harley-Davidson bikes include the Sportster, Dyna, Softail, V-Rod, Touring, Screamin’ Eagle and custom bikes.

Daytona Harley-Davidson plans to host similar online auctions on a monthly basis. To view bikes and bid, visit
