NORTON, Mass. – The owner of East Coast Motor Sports has won the right to to buy, sell, assemble and display used motorcycles and ATVs in front of the shop.

Selectmen voted Thursday to allow owner Robert Martin to display up to two motorcycles on the front lawn of the property and to operate from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

A local business owner and two residents had complained about noise from motorcycles at the business and the potential danger of displaying them within view of the busy road, according to the Attleboro Sun-Chronicle.

But the board decided a two-vehicle display would not distract motorists or create a nuisance.
