A national dealer review website seems to be gaining traction. Dealership University reports that its new Powersportsdealerlocator.com (PDL) site has received more than 3,150 customer reviews of more than 4,000 dealers since the locator launched in February.
“The data most indicative of Powersports Dealer Locator’s growing popularity among powersports enthusiasts is the number of new reviews received,” said Tia Robinson of Powersports Marketing, which operates the PDL site. Powersports Marketing is a subisidary of Dealership University. The PDL site is adding about 1,000 customer reviews a month, she noted.
PDL is a lead-generating web site -- designed to provide enthusiasts with a quick and easy way to locate the best dealer in their market area, read reviews, write reviews, and search for vehicles to buy, and to provide powersports retailers with customer leads.
“We are extremely pleased with the continued growth of the site,” said Rod Stuckey, president of Powersports Marketing. “Powersports Dealer Locator is a valuable resource for consumers, as they can compare the reviews and ratings of dealers in their market area side-by-side to locate the best dealer. It’s also a powerful tool for dealers as it provides the technology platform to fully manage their online reputation and generate new leads.”
Dealers are able to enhance their visibility online by completing a PDL Certification Program conducted by Powersports Marketing.
