Performance Specialists in Kingman, Ariz., will host the 5th Annual Biker Extravaganza April 28 to coincide with the area's annual Laughlin River Run.
Performance Specialists dealer principal Thomas Kelly told the Kingman Daily Miner that last year's event drew around 1,500 people, and he hopes to reach 2,000 this year.
Activities include a custom bike show with a grand prize of two nights in Laughlin, midget wrestling, biker games hosted by the Desert Road Riders motorcycle club and music by 3-D and Forgive-Me-Not. The local 4-H club will serve food, leaving the adult beverages to the Leather Necks motorcycle club.
Two of the most popular activities will be the "Burnout Box," where winners spin their tires for a $150 prize (along with a new tire) and the "Bike Smash," for which Kelly will provide 20 sledgehammers for participants to smash mechanically inferior bikes.
Onsite camping and RV parking will be available, although no dogs or weapons will be allowed. For more information, see www.kellysperformancespecialists.com or call (800) 651-5755.
