SUMMERSIDE, New Brunswick – All dealers want people to have fun at the events they host, but not so many are the actual entertainment.
The 8th annual Atlanticade motorcycle festival and rally will kick off at noon June 27 with a party atmosphere, thanks to Victory motorcycles and Advance Motorsports, the official dealer sponsor for New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
And Advance owner Charlie Arsenault will have the crowd in a partying mood ... as the lead singer for Browns Avenue.
“I am sure he will have the band rocking at their best,” 8th annual Atlanticade motorcycle festival chairman Dale Hicks told the Journal Pioneer.
The opening will take place around 6 p.m., followed by a Victory party inside the big tent from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
New this year, the festival grounds will have a huge tent on site for live entertainment, food, refreshments and bike displays. “This will provide more of a festival atmosphere at our headquarters site and also be a huge benefit should the weather decide not to cooperate,” Hicks said. “With our shuttle service, participants will be able to take full advantage of the social activities and not have to worry about getting back on their bike.”
Hicks is planning to have a special activity in the tent each of the four nights and is excited Victory, in cooperation with the regional dealership, has come forward to kick things off on opening night.
Canada’s original five-day motorcycle festival is expected to attract participants from across North America and will take place in Summerside from June 27 to July 1.
