PROVIDING A GEAR AND APPAREL ROUNDUP in a September issue means that most products have to be in our editors’ lines of sight by late July — some would say too early in the season.
But if what our team saw in July and early August is any indication of things to come, then retailers should expect a PERFECT STORM of new jackets, pants, gloves, helmets, boots, eyewear and more for the late-summer and fall buying season, and even greater offerings by the time Dealer Expo rolls around in February.
Everything — from the advanced technologies behind the materials to the (and we’re not overstating this) stunningly aggressive designs — means that your apparel departments are going to look a whole lot different, and much more exciting, than they have in years. Some of these brands have coordinated POP displays that will help you achieve that merchandising “edge” even faster and easier than before.
Click on the links below for a snapshot of the items that have rolled out, including at the late-July Tucker Rocky Dealer Show, as well as gear debuts from the August WPS and Parts/Drag NVP shows and independent unveilings from the manufacturers themselves.
