DealerNEWS ALERTS expanding in 2014

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - The DealerNEWS ALERTS, the industry's largest business-to-business family of enewsletters, is expanding in 2014, Dealernews reported.

The DealerNEWS ALERT will increase frequency to three times per week, distributing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting in January. The "ALERTS" previously were distributed twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Current DealerNEWS ALERT subscribers will automatically begin receiving the Monday-Wednesday-Friday editions in January, according to Mary Slepicka, content director of Dealernews.

The "vertical segment" e-newsletters -- New Products, Service and American V-Twin -- will be discontinued for 2014 and their content incorporated into the DealerNEWS ALERT. "The stories distributed through these three subject-specific enewsletters are of such industry-wide importance that they now need to be included in the bigger and more widely distributed DealernewsALERT," Slepicka reported.

The DealerNEWS ALERT: Management Update, distributed specifically to dealer owners and operators and general managers, will still distribute twice a month, but now on Tuesdays starting in January.
