DealerNEWS ALERTS win national editorial honors

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Dealernews has won national honors in the American Society of Business Publication Editors' 2014 awards competition.

The DealerNEWS ALERTS won the national Silver prize for General Excellence in e-newsletters during awards ceremonies held last week in Chicago.

The ALERTS were launched in 2009 and since then have become the largest source of breaking news in the powersports industry. The DealerNEWS ALERTS distribute on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The DealerNEWS ALERTS won the top (Gold) prize in the enewsletter category in ASBPE's Pacific regional competition. Dealernews is headquartered with the Advanstar Powersports Group in Santa Monica, Calif., although its editors are based throughout the United States.

The ASBPE Azbee Awards of Excellence program is one of the most competitive contests for business-to-business online and print media. The awards recognize outstanding work by magazines, newsletters and digital media, and are open to all U.S.-based business publications. ASBPE, founded in 1964, is the professional association for full-time and freelance editors, writers, art directors and designers employed by business, trade, association and specialty press.
